About Us
Throughout Sarah Behjet’s life, she sought a hub for Arab youth to thrive collectively. After years of harmful anti-Arab misrepresentation in society, Sarah found herself desiring a space where hundreds in the Arab youth diaspora could create, learn, and grow through increased cultural belonging. Seeing this issue, and finding no platform alleviating this gap, Behjet founded Bring Arab Youth Together in December of 2023. Now, Arab youth across over 28 countries can engage with a first-of-its-kind Arab organization building community once and for all.
BAYT curates content that spotlights Arab culture, history, art and expression, notable figures, cultural practices, and more. By underscoring the importance of media in shaping our cultural pride, the Arab youth community can grow unitedly.
